Patrick's had a big week this week. In addition to trying out all kinds of new sounds,  he started "combat crawling." He's very exicted to be able to get around on his own a little more and not have to rely on us.

This video was originally supposed to be of him scooting around the floor and hiding under his jumper but he ended up just wanting to chat a little, which was fine by me.

Pictures from Last Weekend

We mentioned last week that we were going to the cabin for the weekend to celebrate Papa Joe's birthday. Well, we did. We weren't lying about that. And if you don't believe me, here's photographic proof of our trip:

We also took Patrick to the pediatrician this week for his follow-up flu shot. He did great thankfully. He yelled for a few seconds but then was back to smiling and giggling almost immediately. He did manage to bend the needle on the shot though. The kid's got some legs. Speaking of; he weighed in at just under 19 pounds this time. For those keeping score at home, that's almost a 2 pound gain from his checkup a month ago. I think he's stocking up for "winter" (it's in quotes because we're in Georgia).

Hope everybody had a great week. We're getting ready to go to the Suskay Cabin to celebrate Papa Joe's birthday but wanted to post a couple pictures from the week and a video of Patrick's new favorite activity before we left.

And here's a video of Patrick pulling up on his drawer (we don't even bother organizing it any more because he just gets into it and tosses it all around anyway). Looks like I'll have a new rock climbing partner in a couple years :)
